Dear Owners and Guests,
We'd like to start off by sharing that your safety and well-being always remain the Association's utmost concern. As you are planning your next visit with us here at Costa del Sol, we anticipate that you may have questions about our efforts to manage Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Everyone's safety, including staff, is the primary concern. We are in uncharted territory with this pandemic. We have contacted the Broward Health Dept. about protocol if one contacts this virus while in the area. Their advice, if this happens, is to contact your primary health care provider. There may, or may not be, quarantine shelters available. At this point we simply do not know.
The State of Florida, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, and Broward County have all issued a state of emergency. All public gatherings are cancelled indefinitely. No one can predict how this will evolve, so we will keep you updated if things or protocol needs to change. At this point, we have not decided to shut down, but circumstances can certainly change.
We want for you to feel confident, if you do decide to still visit, that all our actions are focused on your health, well-being, and comfort. We will continue this as long as staff and personnel are available.
Here are a few items we want you to be aware of:
During Check In/Check Out
Commonly used areas and items such as desk counters, pens, and elevator panels are being disinfected on a continual basis. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations are present for your use in convenient areas throughout the resort.
In Your Room
Our housekeeping associates will continue to thoroughly wipe down all hard surfaces in your room with a high-grade disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner, utilizing disposable hand wipes instead of reusable cloth.
Throughout Your Stay
Our resort is taking extra measures to communicate the importance to all staff who may be ill, to stay home, and our leadership team is following all CDC guidelines for cleanliness while you stay with us here.
Cancellation Policy/Changing Plans – Rentals through front desk only
Our cancellation policy requires a 21 day advance notice for any refunds. At this point that policy remains in effect. If you have travel scheduled within the next 21 days and live in the Schengen Area (European region of countries) please contact Sal Azemi, GM at 954-776-6900 x 404.

In the next six weeks (weeks 11-16), we have several renters and owner guests scheduled to arrive. At this point we cannot require renters/owners to stay away, however we strongly urge everyone to utilize caution and make decisions that are in the best interest of themselves, fellow owner/renters, and our staff.
