Resort Closing - Wednesday, March 25, 2020
As the pandemic situation is rapidly evolving, the Board of Directors has made a decision to close Costa del Sol for the undetermined future.
After careful consideration of the Coronavirus situation, and upon consultation with the association's legal representation firm, the Board of Directors has made a decision to close the resort effective March 25, 2020 at noon, until further notice, to protect our employees and our owners and guests.
We will continue to monitor the situation and open as soon as safe to do so.
This decision was arrived at after much thought and deliberation. We simply cannot predict the future of this pandemic, but we can decide on the right thing to do. We cannot compromise the safety of our employees, as well as the greater good for society, by remaining open during this time.
As communicated earlier this week, all Costa del Sol amenities were already closed. Practically all future reservations had been cancelled by incoming guests. All government entities, national and local, are recommending closure of social gathering places.
The Board of Directors will continually update you on the status and future potential re-opening dates of our resort as we monitor CDC and government guidelines. We will maintain some form of front desk phone coverage during this time, or you can call the CDS mobile number at 954-829-4220 if you have any questions.
Stay home. Be safe. Remain healthy.
