Dear Fellow Owners,

We hope that all of you are continuing to be safe and remaining healthy.

The Board is pleased to announce that the recent board vacancy has been filled with the appointment of Anthony (Tony) Silva from Rhode Island. Tony and his wife Linda have been Costa owners since 2006 with units in November and March.

Tony retired from a 34-year career in law enforcement that included 10 years as the Police Chief in Cumberland, RI and culminated with a seven-year appointment as Director/Commandant of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy. He went on to serve three years as the Administrator of the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

In 2015, Tony was appointed to his current position of Chief of Staff to the Rhode Island Lieutenant Governor. In addition, he has been teaching College/University courses as an Assistant Professor at the Community College of Rhode Island, Salve Regina University, Roger Williams University, and the Bryant University Center for Executive Development for the past 30 years.

The Board was seeking an individual with skills related to management including human resources, operating budgets and contracts. Tony has vast experience in these areas and will be a great addition to the Board.

Please join us in welcoming Tony to the Costa Board!
