Hello, Fellow Costa Owners!
Just a reminder that we're offering a one-time sale of Costa del Sol Association resort weeks to you and your friends. There are only four weeks left for the special pricing. They won't be this low again! Use for trading, rentals or enjoy an extra week in beautiful Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.
Over the past years, the Association has owned approximately 5% of the total 2,193 unit weeks. With the recent COVID-19 situation and the increased number of delinquent maintenance fees, this number is now closer to 10%.
Owning a larger number of weeks is not beneficial to the Association or the owners. It means we do not receive the annual maintenance fees and in a period such as COVID-19 have been unable to rent the units (effective September 5th rentals will be available). Our operating costs remain the same and owning more week’s results in fewer owners paying annual maintenance fees. This is not the best direction for the Association.
The Board of Directors and the General Manager have developed a special sale offering which is available from September 8, 2020 to October 26, 2020. If you or a friend are interested in purchasing a week(s) you must complete the form and return it within this period. The transactions including payment must be completed prior to year end.
The updated details are as follows:
121 units between weeks 22-43 presently available for purchase
No charge for the 2020 maintenance fee
Queen unit sale price is $1500
King unit sale price is $2250
Closing costs of $375
FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE
After October 26, 2020 the sale prices will return to the normal cost – queen unit $2500 and king unit $3700. This is a ONE TIME ONLY opportunity.
